With over 20 years of business management experience, David Anderson is a seasoned entrepreneur with a rich history of success. Previously, he owned 5 Budget Blinds franchises, propelling them to become the 2nd largest franchise group in North America over a 12-year tenure. As the Founder of Delta Closets, he spent 8 years specializing in high-end closet and home organization systems, earning a reputation for quality and innovation. David has recently partnered with Felder Group in Austria to enhance our operations. This collaboration involves upgrading our shop with new machinery, ensuring improved production times and the highest quality workmanship. David's commitment to excellence continues to drive our success and innovation.

A graduate of the Royal Roads Bachelor of Commerce program with a focus on Entrepreneurial Management, David blends academic expertise with real-world insights. Beyond business, he takes pride in being a father to 4 teenage daughters and finds joy in boating, traveling, snowboarding, wake surfing, and camping.

Raffael's journey in woodworking began with his apprenticeship as a cabinet maker in Switzerland in 2010, culminating in completion in the summer of 2014. After serving mandatory military time, he continued his craft in a wood furniture shop before venturing to Canada in 2017. Since joining Woodform in January 2018, Raffael has played a crucial role in our production process, bringing a wealth of experience and craftsmanship to the team. Beyond the workshop, he's embraced the Vancouver Island lifestyle, reveling in the diverse outdoor activities the region offers. From fishing and hiking to skitouring in the mountains, Raffael finds joy in the island's natural wonders. Additionally, he kicked off a new chapter in 2020 by joining the Comox Valley Kickers rugby team.

Affectionately known around the workshop as the Shop Goblin, Steve's journey into the world of cabinetry is a story of passion, late beginnings, and a harmonious blend of music and craftsmanship. In 2014, Steve found his calling in a small shop, working under the guidance of a family friend who happened to be a skilled guitar builder. Their connection through music paved the way for a unique learning experience. Steve was not only taught the intricacies of cabinetry but was also given the freedom to explore and develop his skills. It was in this environment that he discovered his deep love for the art of woodworking. Steve's appreciation extends beyond the workshop to the beautiful surroundings of the Valley. Living on K’ómoks First Nation land fills him with a sense of gratitude. Despite the city's unprecedented growth, Steve sees this as an exciting time to be part of the community.

Adrien is a seasoned professional with an impressive 11-year background in cabinetry and finishing. Although new to the Woodform family, Adrien brings a wealth of experience from Hard Rock Acres Cabinets, showcasing a dedication to the craft. His expertise extends into the realm of CNC, where precision and innovation meet seamlessly. Beyond the workshop, Adrien finds solace in the great outdoors, expressing a love for remote camping and hiking. Not just a craftsman, Adrien is also a wordsmith, currently immersed in the creative process of writing a book. His diverse interests and multifaceted skills add a unique dimension to the Woodform team, embodying a passion for both craftsmanship and creative expression. Adrien's arrival has undoubtedly enriched the collaborative and dynamic spirit of our woodworking family.

Introducing Petr, a skilled craftsman with eight years of experience working with wood, and a dedicated four years contributing his talents to Woodform Interiors. Petr's expertise shines through his background in crafting custom staircases, showcasing his exceptional attention to detail and meticulous approach to his work. Originally from Prague, Petr brings a touch of European craftsmanship to our team, having gleaned valuable insights from the rich traditions of his homeland. His commitment to precision and quality is a testament to his understanding of the artistry inherent in woodworking. Beyond his professional skills, Petr's personal interests add depth to his character. A former hockey player, proud father, and accomplished guitarist, Petr finds joy in a range of outdoor activities. Whether he's carving down slopes on skis, riding the waves while surfing, exploring nature through hiking, or casting a line into the water for a relaxing fishing trip, Petr's diverse passions contribute to the dynamic spirit of our team.

Rowan joined the team as a dedicated Shop/Installation Helper and Level 1 Joiner Apprentice with a Certificate in Fine Furniture. Rooted in a passion for woodworking, Rowan brings a meticulous eye for detail and a commitment to craftsmanship to every project undertaken. With a foundation in fine furniture, Rowan's skills extend to installation assistance, ensuring a seamless blend of functionality and aesthetics.

Beyond the workshop, Rowan is grateful for the privilege of working and living on unceded Komo'ks First Nations land, acknowledging the importance of respecting and honouring the rich heritage of the indigenous communities. This connection to the land and its history serves as a source of inspiration, influencing Rowan's approach to woodworking.

Meet Jennifer, a seasoned professional with a wealth of administrative experience who has recently embarked on a new journey in the cabinet-making industry. Jennifer brings a fresh perspective to our team. Despite being new to the cabinet-making realm, Jennifer embraces the entire process with enthusiasm, from the first encounter with customers to witnessing their joy with the finished product. Her genuine appreciation for the craft and the team's capabilities is a testament to her dedication. Relocating to the stunning Comox Valley in September 2021, Jennifer considers it one of the best decisions she's made for herself, expressing a desire to have made the move sooner. Beyond the workshop, she finds solace and joy at the beach or in the forest, often accompanied by her faithful canine companion.

Ashley has worked with owner David Anderson for over seven years as a marketing manager for his other businesses ventures including Delta Closets and Budget Blinds. She is committed to bringing our companies rich history and dedication to our clients to the forefront. Ashley enjoys coming back and forth from the Mainland to the Comox Valley, and enjoys the sense of community that Vancouver Island offers.
