Raffael’s journey in woodworking began with his apprenticeship as a cabinet maker in Switzerland in 2010, culminating in completion in the summer of 2014. After serving mandatory military time, he continued his craft in a wood furniture shop before venturing to Canada in 2017. Since joining Woodform in January 2018, Raffael has played a crucial role in our production process, bringing a wealth of experience and craftsmanship to the team. Beyond the workshop, he’s embraced the Vancouver Island lifestyle, reveling in the diverse outdoor activities the region offers. From fishing and hiking to skitouring in the mountains, Raffael finds joy in the island’s natural wonders. Additionally, he kicked off a new chapter in 2020 by joining the Comox Valley Kickers rugby team.
